PHILEO reinterprets Salomon’s ALPINWAY archetype through a constructivist lens, offering an asymmetrical and fluid version that expresses the duality between urban conquest and a spiritual journey toward nature.
From the Alps to Paris, Salomon’s design transforms into an essential truth, narrating a journey—both physical and spiritual—from nature to the city. The design seeks to answer a crucial question: «How can we bring the softness and sincerity of nature into the harshness and violence of the city?»
The ALPINWAY SP2 stands out for its asymmetrical design, enhanced by SensifitTM technology, with a transparent mesh on the lateral side and stitched details on the medial side. Directly inspired by approach shoes, the low-lacing system ensures a secure and comfortable fit for any situation. The dual-density, dual-action foam midsole provides softness at the heel and precise support at the forefoot, offering both comfort and stability in equal measure.
