Shape The City #2 – Alessandro Remomo

You need to have different eyes to see beyond, to see the city from another point of view. You must have different eyes to recognize its thousand forms and learn how to make them your own.

The second part of our new project for the Timberland’s Flyroam, realized together with the French photographer Alex Penfornis, features Alessandro Remomo, free runner and metropolitan athlete. For him, the city becomes a set of tracks, obstacles to overcome and acrobatic routes. Any foothold or obstacle is observed as a support point to overcome in a fluid and efficient way. Every movement is an artistic gesture that combines perfeclty with the urban architecture.

   The city is a playground.

The rhythm of movement, the agility with which it is accomplished, the lack of impediments. Versatility, lightness and strength, from FLYROAM’ characteristics they also become the starting point for an aesthetic reflection.

Penfornis’ dynamic shooting shows the shoe’s technical potential, the nature of the human body, its mechanics and the metropolitan architecture.

Be fast, Be Light, Be Free.
