Christian August aka Kid Cash, is a German artist active in Berlin, Germany. He is in the scene since the mid-nineties and was one of the founders of the collective KLUB7 based in Berlin since 1998. His works are inspired by sketches and photographs that derive from emotions and spontaneous situations of everyday life. The production goes from still lifes to landscapes, sometimes mentioning his artists-reference points such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse or Hans Arp.

Sensations become shapes and colors, also given by the dynamics of body movements, with regard to large-scale compositions. The choice of materials is very varied: we switch from acrylic and spray, to building materials up to the use of wood and cloths: this is because its approach is completely natural and spontaneous and does not fail to adopt ever new creative solutions. Despite the free attitude his works are characterized by a strong seriality, which makes him recognizable.
