A collaboration that has been going on for 19 years now when, in 2002, Supreme and Nike created a now consolidated partnership.
At the time, the unforgettable Sandy Bodecker was commissioned to reinvent Nike’s skateboarding department. The Beaverton-based company was trying its best to enter the skate world, but the various attempts led to nothing. Nike was perceived as part of the global economic establishment and skateboarders didn’t like it.

Bodecker first tried to engage some of the most prominent American skateboarders and then tack on a skate brand, this was to start building street credibility in the skateboarding world.

So he contacted Supreme and the resulting work was the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk in two colorways: Black Cement and White Cement, borrowing elements from the Air Jordan 3 such as the cement print on the upper, the first time this type of print was used on another sneaker.

From that point forward, this collaboration has become one of the longest-running and most anticipated ever.
For this Spring 2021, the two brands worked together on a collection inspired by the New York streetwear aesthetic focused on impactful items and vibrant colors.
This season’s Supreme x Nike capsule collection includes a Reversible Puffy Jacket, Track Jacket, hoodie, shirt, Track Pant, sweatpants, beanie and more.
The Reversible Puffy Jacket is made of water resistant nylon with the inscription “SUPREME” is embroidered on the collar, the Nike Sportswear logo on the chest and back, the latter is printed in snakeskin. The inner part instead has a jacquard pattern characterized by the Nike all-over logo.
The Track Jacket is made of velvet and cotton blend while the matching pants are made of fleece and cotton blend with printed snakeskin logos, while the twill shirt exclusively has co-brading on the chest.
Complete the collection with Dri-FIT® beanies and neck warmers and a synthetic leather belt with snakeskin pattern.
The Spring 2021 Supreme x Nike collection will be released on March 11th via Supreme’s online shop di Supreme.
