Listen to the Top 5 Tropical Tracks As Chosen By Pereira

Hi guys,
do you remember about Pereira? We’ve already talked about his music when we’ve scoured the Italian musical landscape to bring you 16 fresh artists to watch in 2019.
Pereira was on the list so we watched him, as promised.
Meanwhile, he released his first album “Mascotte” via A Modest Proposal Records which sounds like “an immersion in tropical indie water“.
Through nine dreamy tracks, Pereira leads us in a tropical world surrounded by palm trees and toucans: he sings warm love ballads filled with vibrant synths and smooth guitar tone.

We’re actually obsessed with his chill and slightly goofy sound and there’s no inflatable flamingo that can save us from shipwrecking in his sweet sea.
If you’re ready to feel some summer vibes (even if it’s still winter), enter the world of “Mascotte” and then listen to the top 5 tropical tracks as chosen by Pereira.

Clear – Hush Moss

I will never get tired of saying that Hush Moss are one of the coolest bands around. They’re from Berlin and you’ll love them if you’re a Bee Gees fan.

You make me feel like dancing – Leo Sayer

A blast from the past. This monster hit was written in 1976 but it still makes you want to dance today (even if you’re a block of wood like me).

Un’estate al mare – Giuni Russo

Drink your citron juice and listen to this tropical fresh track.

So Tired – Crumb

Crumb, a Brooklyn psych-pop band, makes trippy music that mixes lazy melodies with a strong psych rock. “So Tired” sounds like something truly new and constantly changing.

Birds don’t sing – TV Girl

One of the most tropical tracks ever. One day I listened to it for a couple minutes and I’ve got it stuck in my head for days and nights.

(P.s. Sore point: the live version is not so good).
