Inspired by her hometown of Amsterdam, and especially her cat, young director Jamille van Wijngaarde has made a dynamic and hilarious animated short film. Catastrophe tries to overturn the classic vision of cats in cartoons, those figures that create a lot of trouble and mess and break millions of things.
In this case, the chaos happens, but not because of the little hairy protagonist … unfortunately to know the truth will be just us.
