Looking Glass, the life reflected in the windows

Every day millions of people pass in front of us, some with ease, others with mirrors, others attracted by what is on the other side of the glass, but in any case, the shop windows and the windows of the buildings reflect the life of the city.
Director Bill Newsinger, inspired above all by the work of Saul Leiter and his photographs that frame New York through the windows of shops and bars, has made “Looking Glass“, a short film shot all by filming the glass.

What is reflected, and what we see, is blurred and sometimes deformed, returning an almost evanescent vision of the city.

In addition to Looking Glass, I suggest you take a look at the director’s Vimeo page and discover his other works.
