‘The Wander Playlist’ is the first Collater.al travel section, a short photographic guide, in 12 episodes, to tell the contemporary outdoor culture through the landscape photography.

Twelve appointments during the year that will lead us to discover and show, through our shots and some advice, some of the most beautiful places of our country, from the Alps to Sicily.

The Wander Playlist is our small selection, the way we interpret this adventure that will have the taste of the music you prepare before to leave, the names that you notes not to forget them, the time you spent in the car looking out of the window.

Our travel section as a playlist of places to see.
Our first trip, at this end of February, lasted two days and took us to the Val di Sole, between Rabbi and Pejo.

Music.

We planned this for weeks; we have prepared our backpacks, winter jackets, hiking boots and our Lumix G80. We have many things to see, so much to photograph. We leave on a cold Friday night after work, it’s cold outside, we expect 3 hours of travel and two sandwiches warmed up at a motorway lost in the dark Veneto mountains.

We arrive at our hotel in Fucine late at night, when the receptionist has already decided to go to sleep.

DAY #1

When we wake up the weather is beautiful and we want to see the snow. So our Hotelier convinced us to change the route and, canceled the move to go to Pejo 3000, we decided to see Madonna di Campiglio and take some pictures to the snowy peaks from the ski slopes.
We arrive in a few minutes, and the cable car takes us to the top of the Grostè mountain.
The sun is high and the snow shines. Some shots among snowboarders, a couple of beers and some revival music.

So we decide to move elsewhere to watch the sunset. After several directions, some kilometers in the car, a long walk to a snowy path, we reach Malga Ritorto and appears before our eyes the entire Valley di Rabbi. Pink sky and wedges of light on the snow-capped peaks.

We take a vin brulè and then we did a tour by snowmobile to come back to our car.

DAY #2

For our second day we prefer the real adventure. Our destination is the rope bridge above the Ragaiolo stream in Val di Rabbi. After a few shots along the way, we arrive at the entrance of our route. The snow is not enough but many trails are icy and impassable. After passed the Terme di Rabbi we take the first (dirt) road on the left and proceed on foot. In half an hour we arrive at our destination.

The bridge is longer more than 100 meters, and we cross them up in the air at a height that reaches about 60 meters. What we face is a unique natural spectacle.

The route continues through the woods towards Malga Fratte but the road is icy. The only way we can reach it is through a snowmobile that comes to rescue us and take us to the top.

We stop for lunch that also turns into a snack. So we return to the valley, the road to our homecoming will be long and full of music.
