Vinilica vol. 66 – Mudimbi

-
Emanuele D'Angelo

At the registry office Michel Mudimbi, but we all know him simply as Mudimbi an Italian-Congolese artist who has always been passionate about rap, in 2017 he debuted in the record market with his first record “Michel”.

From that far away 2017 he has made it, from the stage of Sanremo to the new singles Mudimbi has never remained “hands in hand”.
In the meantime he also created a collective of videomaking, called BANANA, with which he writes and directs videos for his own project and, later, for others.

On September 11th his new single “O.M.P.” was released, which anticipates the upcoming album, but we can’t say more!
“O.M.P.” is a concrete speech made to a hypothetical* figl* but, after all, it is a speech that many of us would also need to listen to.
A reminder that life should be lived more than thought, that opportunities should be seized while there are still opportunities and that nothing and no one should ever be taken for granted, because everything has an end and we never really know when it will come”.

And while you dance with his new single, “pay the bills, make family”, the artist has selected 28 tracks exclusively for Collater.al Mag.

“In this playlist I’ve collected a good part of what I’ve loved to listen to in this last period, from quarantine onwards, whenever I felt like or needed to relax, detach my head from everything and everyone and enjoy the slow passage of time”.
