7506 dresses the future of research in Antarctica

7506 is a project born from the research and development laboratories of D-Air Lab that revolutionizes technical clothing and performance in extreme temperatures by optimizing insulation. The birth of this brand stems from a collaboration with UNLESS, the non-profit agency dedicated to scientific research in Antarctica. On December 12, the first collection was presented at the Pop-Up Lab in Via Vincenzo Capelli, 4, in Milan. The guests included Rocco Ascione, Expedition Leader of the National Agency for New Technologies (ENEA) and Station Leader at the Italian-French Concordia station in Antarctica, and Matteo Ward, co-founder of WRÅD, a design studio dedicated to sustainable development.

It is an interesting project that combines innovation and portable ecosystems capable of improving the performance of the human body in extreme environments. Each piece is a true and innovative second skin designed for safe exploration in areas where extremely low temperatures endanger the lives of scientists.

7506 is not just a brand of technical clothing but arises from a specific multidisciplinary context thanks to the collaboration of Antarctic Resolution and UNLESS. The garments bear witness to ongoing research, but the greatest innovation lies in achieving a balance between form, technique, and functionality.
