The World Is Changed By Your Example Not Your Opinion
Antidote is an artistical twinning project to inspire young creatives and stimulate reflection on the use of time during the period of social restrictions due to coronavirus.
21 creatives, 4 countries. The project was inaugurated by Italy and China, the first two countries seriously affected by the coronavirus. Young Italian artists have created artworks inspired by those of Chinese artists and vice versa. The aim is to use art as an antidote to social distancing. With the spread of the virus globally, artists from the United States and the United Kingdom were subsequently selected to produce their works from the works of Italian creators.
The point of union between artists from different nations who are quarantined from their homes is art itself, through a multidisciplinary co-creation process. Each chosen artist creates his work starting from that of his “twinned” artist. Art is our Antidote.
The creator is Alvaro Javier Cecchetti aka Alvaanq, artist and creative – who has selected 21 main artists of four different nationalities, combining them according to disciplinary categories: graphic collage, photography, digital art, motion, video editing, etc.. They also worked on the project Erica Cariello (Strategy e copywriting) and Leonardo Pelliccione (Graphic design).
