The new animated film by Foam Studio, with the title Auto Nom, plays with the concept of automation automotive, making float for the city the historic Mercedes sedan on the notes of a pop-Japanese cover of Tom Jones’s famous song It’s Not Unusual.
The car, the protagonist of the video, is called Autonomous Rolf and, in a completely 3D urban scene, sneaking, climbing, engaging here and there in total freedom and autonomy until flying out.
In this short video, realized in collaboration with the German ZEITGUISED studio, the car succeeds in emancipating itself from its real function, inviting us all to reflect on the unexpected consequences of autonomous mobility.
