Best of 2020 – Campaign

If there’s one industry that hasn’t stood still this year, it’s definitely advertising. Let’s review the best campaigns of 2020.

You Can’t Stop Us – Nike

Nike’s commercial, which reached 5 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours, is a true celebration of all sports and all athletes. The message is clear, you can’t stop sports because you can’t stop us, and for underlining this there are the images of 24 different disciplines that come together following the movements of the athletes.

Black Mirror – Netflix

Last Spring, Madrid-based Spanish agency “Brother Ad” launched an advertising campaign located at bus stops in the Spanish capital, where was possible to read on a mirrored surface: “Black Mirror 6th season. Live now, everywhere“. In fact, reality has never been so similar to the Netflix TV series.

All’Italia – Barilla

Among the many campaigns that were launched during the lockdown, we’d like to mention one, the one that more than any other made us feel like a united country, that in the midst of difficulty doesn’t give up on beauty. Let yourself be carried away by the voice of Sophia Loren and the images of our empty cities, which we must not forget.

The Moldy Whopper – Burger King

The beauty of real food is that it becomes ugly. This is the claim of the Burger King campaign created to present the new Whopper without artificial preservatives.

Proud Parent – Oreo e PFLAG

On the occasion of Coming Out Day and LGBT+ History Month, Oreo and PFLAG – the largest American association supporting gay rights – have joined forces to spread messages of love and inclusion. The short film shines a spotlight on the impact that acceptance can have on LGBT+ youth and raises awareness of friends and family to be more open and accepting.

Mamba Forever – Nike

On the day dedicated to Kobe Bryant’s commemoration, Nike also joined the voices of Jimmy Kimmel, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Sabrina Ionescu and, a moved and experienced Vanessa Bryant, releasing a commercial to salute and pay homage once again to the NBA champion.

The Guardian Weekly

If the classic red fire boxes lock inside them buttons to give the alarm or fire extinguishers, breaking the glass of those made by The Guardian you can find copies of their weekly magazine, The Guardian Weekly. The invitation is clear, arm yourself with the news!

Take Care – Doc Morris

Let’s end on a sweet note, with what we think wins the title of the best Christmas campaign of the year. In the Doc Morris commercial we see an old man, lonely and sad one day he wakes up and suddenly decides to get busy. He goes into his old shed, dusts off his lifelong tools and slowly begins to work out. But what is it that drives him to get involved at any moment?
Watch it to the end, it won’t disappoint!
