Better Days by Seunggu Kim tells us what the word vacation for the Koreans means: in fact, Korea is a relatively young country that has developed in about 40 years, which has definitely pushed the accelerator to become what it is today. The working hours are dense and exhausting, so as to bring the workers to spend their time of freedom in the city, due to the lack of time to travel.
It comes out a sarcastically picturesque picture in which we see people gathered in the same place to share a corner of peace and unusual situations or any way that have little to do with the holiday.
The project captures all the moments of leisure and activity in which Koreans participate during their free time and reveals the acute irony of the production system that not only sees us as productive resources but also as consumers.
