With the launch of its first nail polish collection, CARE ESSENTIALS, Birkenstock introduces a new level of expression that brings together care, function and aesthetics in its own way — placing foot care, and now hand care too, at the center.

This new line comes from the same philosophy that made the Birkenstock footbed iconic: the idea of “walking as nature intended.” A holistic approach that now translates into a beauty proposal designed to enhance the feet not only as a functional element, but also as a style detail.

The nail polishes — vegan, plant-based and formulated with selected ingredients — are an authentic extension of the Birkenstock universe. Not simply a cosmetic product, but a complement that speaks directly to the brand’s open-toe silhouettes, creating visual continuity between sandal and foot.

The palette, made up of five versatile shades — Eggshell, Light Rose, Crocus, Surf Green and Red — is designed to integrate with the seasonal collections, offering the possibility to build tone-on-tone looks or play with bolder contrasts. Completing the range are a base coat, a top coat and a gentle remover enriched with sweet almond oil. Here too, the design remains faithful to the brand’s essential aesthetic: minimalist packaging, recyclable glass bottles and a focus on production quality, all made entirely in Europe.

With CARE ESSENTIALS, Birkenstock strengthens an increasingly expansive direction, building an ecosystem that goes beyond footwear and embraces a contemporary vision of wellbeing. A design continuity that starts from function and reaches all the way to detail, without losing coherence along the way.
