At the heart of the collection is a special edition of The Biggest Word Book Ever, an extraordinary volume with a printed Intrecciato cover that evokes the idea of protecting and honoring books, as highlighted by Olympia Scarry, artist and granddaughter of Richard.

To celebrate the collection’s launch, Bottega Veneta hosted an event at a new residence in New York, located on the fifth floor of its Madison Avenue boutique. The event, hosted by Olympia Scarry herself, emphasized the close connection between the Scarry family and Matthieu Blazy. The project came about through a delightful coincidence: Olympia discovered that Blazy was a fan of Lowly Worm and involved her father, Huck, who had helped Richard with illustrations as a teenager and is now an author and illustrator himself. Huck created a small drawing of Lowly in the shape of Blazy’s initials, sparking the conversation that led to the collaboration.
