The collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Patta stems from a harmony that goes beyond aesthetic affinities, rooted in a shared vision of streetwear culture. With Hartt and Soul, the two brands reunite for the Fall/Winter 2026 season, picking up the journey that began in 2014. The result is a collection that reinterprets workwear codes through collegiate graphics, metallic details and references to the identity of both labels, keeping at its center the functional pieces that have helped define their language.

The project takes shape from the meeting of two identities that, despite starting from different paths, have found common ground in urban culture. Carhartt WIP, founded in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, reworked the legacy of American workwear, becoming a reference point for the skate, music and creative scenes. Patta, born in Amsterdam in 2004 as a sneaker-focused store, has instead built a universe where streetwear, music and community intertwine. Two paths that show how style can go beyond product and become an expression of a shared culture.

At the heart of Hartt and Soul are some of Carhartt WIP’s most recognizable models, reinterpreted through Patta’s graphic language. The OG Active Jacket and the Double Knee Pant are enriched with appliqués inspired by collegiate aesthetics, while the vest and the hoodie feature combined logos on the back. Metallic details become a distinctive element of the collection: silver rivets appear on garments and accessories, accentuating the utilitarian character of the original models.

The palette alternates dark tones with brighter touches, such as the safety orange of the half-zip sweater and the Watch Hat. The capsule is completed by tone-on-tone printed T-shirts, finished with the square co-branded label, and a bag that picks up the same visual codes. Rather than upending the classics, the collaboration works through targeted interventions, leaving the silhouettes recognizable while introducing new elements through graphics, proportions and finishes.

Completing the project is a photographic campaign set in Ghana, by Nana Yaw Oduro, a photographer based in Accra. His images move away from traditional streetwear representation to build scenes with a poetic and slightly surreal character. Open landscapes, sunlit walls and everyday objects become part of compositions in which intense colors and unusual situations accompany a reflection on identity, emotions and self-acceptance.

The choice of this visual language broadens the meaning of the collaboration: the garments are not just the stars of a lookbook, but become part of a story that puts people and the way they inhabit the world at the center. It is also in this dimension that Hartt and Soul finds its meaning, recalling the bond between the two brands and the culture that surrounds them. The Patta x Carhartt WIP capsule is already available at selected retailers, in the flagship stores of both brands and on their respective e-commerce sites.
