Bottega Veneta has unveiled images of the “secret” show, held in October at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London and with guests like Kanye West and Stormzy, with which it presented the Spring 2021 collection.
The presentation of the collection, called “Salon 01 London”, was not simply a runway show but also a window through which one can observe the behind the scenes of the creative process of Daniel Lee, Creative Director of the Italian fashion house.
In addition to being one of the largest collections ever produced by Lee and Bottega Veneta – floral dresses, wool coats, sweaters, plain cardigans, tailored pants and more – the presentation was also “a collection of objects“, according to the company’s own statement, specifically a record and three books.
These objects contain anecdotes and images that tell the ethos of Bottega Veneta and were made possible thanks to the work of photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Lebon, Neneh Cherry and German artist Rosemarie Trockel.
