Founding a clothing brand takes resources, capital, materials, staff and very often those who have this dream abandon it before they even start. Then, rarely, someone instead of giving up the idea changes it. This is the case of Chris Pin.
Chris Pin is a designer of Cambodian origin who lives in New York. For five years he worked for brands such as Converse and John Varvatos and then felt the need to create something personal.
Not having all the necessary means at his disposal, in 2014 he founded Haute Hero, a brand completely different from all the others.
Focusing mainly on sneakers, but also giving space to clothing and accessories such as bags and duffel bags, Chris Pin offers a collection composed only of miniature items.
Surely, his Air Jordan 1’s are not to be worn on your feet, but they soon became a collector’s item in the same way.
Chris Pin’s creations wink at miniature reproduction lovers, sneakerheads and streetwear enthusiasts alike. Taking inspiration from Japanese fashion and icons such as, precisely, the Air Jordan, each item signed Haute Hero is made by hand, with top quality materials such as leather, cotton and wool, and requires at least 30 hours of work.
