The Enlighten Festival in Canberra hosted Meliora, a public art installation designed to symbolize the pursuit of positive change in an era marked by global challenges such as climate change, political conflicts, and economic instability. The name Meliora—Latin for “better things”—captures the essence of the work: a series of intertwined abstract curves forming openings, a metaphor for the different perspectives through which we view the world. The installation encouraged empathy and reflection, enhanced by dynamic lighting effects and a custom-made soundtrack.Through an immersive experience, Meliora inspired hope, resilience, and collective cooperation, reminding us that a better future is only possible through an open and shared vision.
