Chinese artist Cao Hui, after his hyper realistic organic sculptures of furniture and household items, decides to challenge the perception and expectations of the spectators again, showing us the interior of some of the most famous sculpture in history.

Those that initially seem to be very classic works actually show us something that goes beyond the inorganic matter they are made of. Human bodies, flesh and muscles, which are realistically reproduced, emerge from the partitioned section.

This surreal and surprising look within art allows the artist to give life to a carved stone body, making the faces of art history more human.
