adidas Originals has unveiled a retro capsule collection sealing its relationship with Arsenal.

The inspiration behind this new collection goes back to the period at the turn of the late 1980s and early 1990s (1986-1994), when the German sportswear giant was a technical sponsor of the London team before returning to it in 2018 after 25 years.

Five items that celebrate the legacy and aesthetic 90’s: a rain coat, a hoodie, a tracksuit, a tracktop and the repro of the jersey worn by the Gunners between 1990 and 1992 – one of the last times the adidas Trefoil logo appeared on a football field – a tribute to the team that won the Premier League in the 90/91 season, kicking off a decade of success.
All items feature the Arsenal crest of the era and the gothic font.

Among the Gunners players involved in the launch campaign of the capsule stands out the Franco-Gabonese center forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but above all the Spanish fullback Héctor Bellerín, a true style icon and a big fashion lover, also walked the runway for Louis Vuitton in Paris on the occasion of the presentation of Spring Summer 2020.

The retro capsule collection from adidas Originals and Arsenal is already available online.
