Converse renews its work based on sustainability through a new collaboration with Carhartt WIP.

The vintage retailer Beyond Retro, which has offices in the UK and Sweden, has made available more than 1000 work items including pants, jackets and canvas overall which have been used to create the new Carhartt WIP x Converse Renew Chuck 70 with the upcycling technique.

All the material recovered was divided into three colour ranges: blue, black and brown, after which the garments were cut in such a way as to be shaped and become the panels that make up the sneakers. Precisely for this peculiar work no pair can be equal to the other.

With this project, Converse and Carhartt have prevented more than 108,000 items from going to landfill.

The release is scheduled for May 28th on the Converse web store on the Carhartt WIP website and at selected retailers.
