A few days ago the family of Mac Miller, the artist who passed away in 2018, published on his Instagram profile a press release dedicated to “Circles“.
Before his death, Miller was in fact working on the release of the new album, unfortunately, remained unfinished.

Circles. January 17.

With him, however, there was producer Jon Brion who, thanks to the work done together and all the time spent in the studio, was able to complete it on his own.
The album will be released on January 17 but today was released the video of Good News, the first single of Circles.

The music video of almost 7 minutes starts with some footage of Miller smiling in the studio, before starting a long animated journey riding a lotus flower.

Watch the video here.

Life Is Good, the latest collaboration of Drake and Future

Life Is Good, the latest collaboration of Drake and Future

Anna Cardaci · 1 month ago · Music

The two big names in American rap Drake e Future have officially reunited and returned with a new musical collaboration. This is their new single, released yesterday Thursday, January 9 entitled “Life Is Good“. The hip-hop duo joined in a memorable way for the first time in September 2015 with the mixtape “What a Time to Be Alive“, which included songs like “Jumpman” and “Diamonds Dancing“.

Life Is Good was produced by Ambezza (POP STAR by Da Baby), OZ (Sicko Mode by Travis) and D. Hill. The track is composed in two parts, dominated respectively by Drizzy and Future that alternate with the mic to celebrate their life. The two rappers show off what they have conquered with hard work.

Along with the single Life Is Good, the two also released the official film. In the video clip, we find Drake and Future struggling with various jobs they do to pay for the recording studio and pursue the dream of a musical career. There are several guests like 21 Savage and Mike-Will Made It. The track is present on Youtube and Spotify as “Future feat. Drake“, while on other music streaming sites, such as Tidal, both appear as lead artists.

The launch of this new product could anticipate the release of a new album, a bit like it was done in the past with What A Time to Be Alive.

Circles, Mac Miller’s posthumous album is out

Circles, Mac Miller’s posthumous album is out

Giulia Pacciardi · 1 month ago · Music

In early 2020 the family of Mac Miller, the artist who died of an accidental overdose on September 7, 2018, had announced the release of a posthumous album along with the name of the first single, “Good News“.

A few days later the video was released, a tribute to the young artist’s career with images of him working in the studio, but also those of a surreal journey riding a lotus flower.

Today, exactly as already announced, Circles has finally come out.
The album, containing 12 tracks, was born from the collaboration with the producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter Jon Brion, who thanks to the work done together managed to complete the album even without the presence of Miller, despite the intimacy that characterizes all the tracks.

Listen to Circus here and don’t miss the Good News video here.
