On the occasion of the launch of the Air Max 90 ‘Vinyl’ and to continue to pay homage to the Air Max 90, one of its most beloved and iconic models ever, Nike and Collater.al have decided to rely on an Italian artist who started his career in the 90s, the Roman rapper, and producer Noyz Narcos.
With him, we decided to tell, through a short documentary shot between the rapper’s house and the most important hip-hop areas of Milan, the Italian rap scene of those years and its real connections with street and sneaker culture.
The rapper has opened the doors of his house to show us his vinyl collection full of iconic albums of that period but also his Air Max 90 collection, among others, the Footpatrol x Nike, the Air Max 90 DNM QS “Infrared Washed Denim”, the Air Max 90 OG “Infrared” and the Atmos x Air Max 90 “Tiger Camo”.
From there we left for a tour of the city of Milan, from Piazza San Babila to the Colonne di San Lorenzo, from Piazza Vetra to Via Torino, to then arrive at One Block Down store, landmark of the street scene of the city.
Here you can find our video, the video backstage of the documentary and an editorial taken ad hoc for the occasion, while on SNEAKRS you can find the whole project and here all the info about the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Vinyl’ available from august 24.
