For Winter 2026, A BATHING APE® looks back once again at the cultures that helped define its identity. With Timeless Culture, the Japanese brand brings hip-hop aesthetics, American sports imagery and their most recognizable codes into dialogue, turning them into a collection that plays with textures, volumes and materials. The result is a winter wardrobe in which streetwear heritage is not simply revisited, but runs through new interpretations.

Founded in Tokyo in 1993 by Nigo, A BATHING APE® has built its identity through the dialogue between Japanese culture, hip-hop and international streetwear. Camouflage, bold graphics and oversized silhouettes have become distinctive elements of an aesthetic that continues to influence contemporary fashion. With Timeless Culture, the brand returns precisely to these contaminations, showing how its archive can become the starting point for new interpretations.

The collection develops around two main references. On one side, the link between hip-hop and fashion translates into pieces that focus on rich surfaces: the CROC PATTERN, with its crocodile-effect texture, covers puffer jackets, outerwear and suits, while COLOR CAMO and the SHARK details keep the brand’s visual vocabulary alive.

On the other, hockey, American football and collegiate style introduce oversized jerseys, graphic numbering and athletic silhouettes. Sportswear is thus removed from its original function and becomes a tool for personal expression, with relaxed proportions, glossy materials and pastel tones.

Among the most interesting elements of the season is RAW EDGE CAMO, a reinterpretation of the BAPE® camouflage through a crinkled treatment that makes the surfaces three-dimensional.
