The series of projects conceived by C.P. Company to celebrate its 50th anniversary continues. The latest of these (the seventh) is an original collaboration with Barbour, a cult English brand that half a century ago inspired the birth of C.P. Company, remaining a reference point for the functionality of its garments and the British style of its waxed jackets.
The two main garments of the capsule are the Barbour 500 Miglia, short with four pockets, in olive and anthracite colors, and the Barbour Mille, offered in olive and tan. The result of these military jackets is a hybrid of C.P. Company’s historic Mille Jacket from 1988 and the Solway designed by Barbour in the 1960s.

The link between the two brands seems very natural at first glance, as also stated by Paul Harvey, designer of C.P. Company:
“working with Barbour was so simple and special. I was born in Middlesbrough, in the north of England, and in our first meeting we actually ended up talking about the same landscapes we grew up in. So close was the bond between early Italian Sportswear and Barbour were doing at that time”
he collection, which is rounded out with sweatshirts, hunting hats and a backpack, will be available starting Sept. 23 on the C.P. Company and Barbour websites. From Sept. 9-12 only, the two brands will raffle off 24 jackets, with proceeds going to World LandTrust, a charity that protects the landscape ecosystem.
