The legacy of C.P. Company keeps blending with design

With Spring/Summer 026, C.P. Company opens a new chapter where the brand’s memory intertwines with ongoing research in design and materials. Framing the launch is the project Behind the Seams, a physical installation unveiled on June 20, 2025, in Milan, centered around the dialogue between the people who live and shape the brand’s identity every day.

Filmed between the Massimo Osti Archive and the Research & Development lab in Carrè, the conversations gathered in the project explore what it means to innovate today without forgetting the past. C.P. Company has always done this: rewriting the codes of the past with the fabrics of the future. This is how icons like the Goggle Jacket and the Mille Jacket return in never-before-seen versions, made with materials like Bi-TM, Gore G-Type, Opal-C, and Rafia-R. All designed to push experimentation to the limit.

Garment dyeing — the brand’s unmistakable signature — returns as the protagonist, focusing on the lived-in effect that has defined C.P.’s aesthetic from the start. One example is Panama-R, a recycled nylon fabric treated with specific pigments that seem to tell stories already lived, yet still waiting to be written.

There’s also room for denim, with a capsule dedicated to indigo that explores every shade of blue. Key pieces include the multi-pocket Goggle Jacket and loose-fit pants in 50 Fili, reimagined with a bleached finish. Every detail speaks the language of functionality, with modular pockets and technical compartments running throughout the collection.

At the heart of it all is the Life Buoy logo. A return to the roots that isn’t nostalgia, but continuity. It appears on boxy sweatshirts, striped jersey garments, and polos — an echo of the brand’s early years projected into the present.

At the same time, the Metropolis Series evolves and rewrites the codes of urban wear with the same consistency. Fabrics like Nano Titanium, Gore-Tex Windstopper® and Pertex® define a wardrobe designed for a city in constant motion. Seams are heat-sealed, sleeves are removable, silhouettes are essential. Everything speaks of precision, lightness, performance.

C.P. Company SS026 is not just a seasonal update. It’s a reflection on the possibility of being contemporary without losing your soul. A story that lives in the fabrics, colors, and details — and continues, seam after seam.
