Two outerwear pieces have been born from the collaboration between C.P. Company and Junya Watanabe MAN. Both feature two fishtail parkas with reflective print on the back, a loose fit, and an Explorer hood – a hallmark traceable to one of the distinctive signs of the brand founded by Massimo Osti. The materials, respectively, are a laminated 3-layer denim cotton and a 3-layer nylon canvas.

This collaboration is special for two reasons: the first concerns the revolutionary strength of both brands, and the second, instead, the meeting between Watanabe’s deconstructed modernism and the technical avant-garde of C.P. Company. In short, a unique opportunity for those who love the garments and the history of both brands. Junya Watanabe MAN – born in 2001 – is the line designed by the Japanese designer dedicated to menswear; one of the many brands carried forward under the umbrella of Comme des Garçons. The utilitarian component of the garments designed by Watanabe perfectly reflects the point of view of C.P. Company, which since 1971 has been one of the most assertive and authoritative brands in modern sportswear.

The collection, available in flagship stores since May 10, is already iconic and seems to be designed specifically for those who know sportswear well.
