Daukantė, a graduate in Graphic Design from the Vilnius Academy of Arts with a master’s degree in Information Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven, has refined her visual language with an aesthetic that blends minimalism and expressive details. Her illustrations, often created by hand using markers or pencils, tell stories through moments stolen from everyday life, reinterpreted with a touch of humor and irreverence.
Through her drawings, Daukantė also questions small daily hypocrisies, social dynamics, and the paradoxes of modern society, always with a fresh and accessible visual language.

But Daukantė’s art is not limited to paper. Her creativity extends into the world of objects with handmade ceramics, tufted rugs, and prints that transform her illustrations into tactile experiences. This multidisciplinary exploration sets her apart in the contemporary illustration scene, where more and more artists seek to expand their scope beyond the classic two-dimensional medium.
Each piece is crafted with artisanal care, maintaining that balance between irony and refinement that defines her style. Her rugs, for example, resemble soft paintings to walk on, while her ceramics add a touch of humor to everyday life.

Like many creatives of her generation, Daukantė uses Instagram (@daukante_draws) as the main showcase for her work. Here, she shares not only her illustrations but also her creative process and experiments with different materials. Her posts are a mix of sketches, finished products, and small fragments of daily life, creating a direct dialogue with her followers.
