Every person, even the most ordinary one, carries a unique and special story. Any event, experience, situation and past moment adds value to any testimony. Telling it with photography is a difficult job. David Kirscher has been doing it for over 15 years.
David Kirscher is a French photographer based in Paris who manages to show, through his lens, the most intimate and sincere aspects of people. Each of his shots plays between fiction and reality and is an intense, vital and provocative narrative.
“No matter the project and who I am shooting with, I always ask myself the same question: how to tell a story with pictures?”
His work is deeply inspired by cinema and the great directors Gaspar Noé, Felix Van Groeningen, Abdelatif Kechiche, Paweł Pawlikowski, to name but a few. His photography inspires love, independence and freedom.
