Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have decided to surprise us.
In fact, on December 27 their new documentary “Death to 2020 “will be released on Netflix.

The creators of the famous series Black Mirror have in fact decided to tell “the terrible year that was” through the eyes of so-called “experts, politicians, monarchs and average citizens” – all played by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

The cast is outstanding, Samuel L. Jackson will portray a reporter, Hugh Grant a history professor, Kumail Nanjiani a CEO of a tech company. Tracey Ullman as Queen Elizabeth II, Samson Kayo a scientist, Lisa Kudrow an “unofficial” conservative spokesperson, Dianne Morgan a regular citizen, Leslie Jones a behavioral psychologist.

The trailer doesn’t give us much insight, Charlie Brooker has stated that it will be “a collision of multiple threads,” something that will obviously be different, very different than the series that made him world-famous.

So we just have to wait and see what Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have in store for us at the end of this strange year.
