The artistic practice of Delfino Fidel moves between sculpture, object-making, and pop imagery. Over time, his path has been enriched by a pedagogical dimension, and his dual perspective reflects that of both artist and educator—two roles that constantly resurface in his work, fueling a clear-eyed yet never didactic reflection on the present.

Over the years, Delfino Fidel has taken part in competitions and group exhibitions such as Stanze dell’Arte, Zuger Kunstpause, and Junge Kunst Olten, alongside an intense exhibition activity in institutional contexts, galleries, and independent spaces across both Italian- and German-speaking Switzerland. From the m.a.x. museo in Chiasso to Zuger Kunstnacht, passing through realities such as Kromya Art Gallery, Artrust, and self-managed collectives, his work has entered highly diverse contexts while always maintaining a strong formal and conceptual recognizability.

Today, from his studio in Arogno, the artist continues to develop a visual language that connects everyday objects, iconic figures, and symbols of pop culture, assembled and re-signified through unexpected juxtapositions. His sculptures function as narrative devices, capable of activating multiple readings through a conscious use of humor—understood as a critical and provocative tool. Beneath the apparent lightness emerges a constant tension toward the paradoxes of contemporary society: a complex system marked by contradictions and deep connections, which Delfino Fidel observes and translates with irony, precision, and a subtle subversive charge.
