After new comers Giulia Bernadelli aka Bernulia and Ale Giorgini, Fantasy Researcher Diego Cusano is continuing his adventure on Etsy, the global marketplace dedicated to creativity.
Seller from 2015, the eclectic artist renown internationally, continues to choose Etsy.com as an online shop to sell his artwork, extraordinary worlds birthed from the most ordinary elements.
Diego Cusano’s stories are unusual, immediate, funny and unexpected, they’re simple stories that impress thanks to the creativity they conceal. These incredible works have made Diego one of the most iconic sellers on Etsy, already appreciated by a great number of buyers passionate about unique Made in Italy products.
For this reason, in order to continue to entertain his public, Diego decided to launch two new limited edition artworks and tell his story and experience as an Etsyer:
“Since I was a kid my favorite hobby was to draw fantasy landscapes and characters. After having finished my studies in painting and art graphics, I started to observe reality from different points of view. Often, we don’t allow ourselves to stop and look at the small things, blame it on the daily routine, on the hectic city life, we smile little and are focused on looking for happiness forgetting about all those nuances our reality offers. From this reflection, I started drawing decontextualizing objects and food to let them work under a new, unexpected function.
“I don’t define myself as an artist, nor as an illustrator or a drawer but as a “Fantasy researcher” because what I look for and research every day is a little bit of fantasy to blend in reality. I like giving smiles to people looking at my drawings. Starting from nothing, I started my Etsy Shop where I started selling prints and posters in a direct way, getting a great response from consumers, monitoring shipping and dealing with customized orders too. The greatest thing when you open a shop is to see that, within one month, your product becomes one of the best sellers. For this reason, I chose to continue my adventure with Etsy presenting new products of the collection like the sketchbook range, to then propose for the first time two original artworks made of real objects exclusively for Etsy. Through drawing, I tell my story everyday, what I see and imagine during a walk or simply enclosing autumnal smells in a frame. This is exactly the mood I represented exclusively for Etsy.”
Diego is the third of the four artists continuing to choose Etsy to give his works the possibility to enter the homes of the whole world.
If you, like Bernulia, Ale, and Diego, are also passionate about artisanal, Made in Italy products, you have no choice but opening your Etsy shop and joining a big community under which two million of sellers and almost 35 millions of buyers breathe.
