Adding colors to flowers sounds like an extreme gesture for chronic dissatisfied people or perfectionists, but art has no limits so why can’t we try to add some paint and colorful backgrounds to photograph them?

I’ve just summed up in few lines the photographic project Dripping, realized by the Argentinian creative director and photographer Cristo Oviedo in collaboration with the graphic designer Paula Posadas Alvarez. This is not the right place to bore you with technicalities and lists of phases during the creations of the shots, at the end the photographs speak for themselves: they indeed make one of the most appreciated natural elements the protagonists in an unconventional and unexpected way with a touch of paint that delicately drips from the petals and with very colorful backgrounds but respectful of the subjects.

Don’t worry, a classic bunch of flowers is still a pleasant gift for a big part of the female population and not only.
