In the southwest of Bali, in the area of Buwit, is located the Chameleon Villa, a residence constructed on an acre of land, overlooking a dense forest and a gentle river below.
WOMhouse’s team has been able to create a building truly connected with its surroundings, working on the idea of landscape architecture, by blurring the boundaries between natural and built environments.
The buildings that make up the Chameleon Villa are situated on different levels of the land and they follow the contour lines, taking advantage of the most panoramic points. The end result is a composition of rectangular volumes, each intended for a different environment of the house, which makes the whole modern and clean shapes.
