Considered as one of America’s greatest 20th-century artists, Edward Hopper has captured the isolation of modern life as no one else.

We all know the characters of his most important work, deaf people often sitting alone in dining, in the movie theaters or in the late-night hotel rooms that have shown the dark side of mankind. Now, for the first time, nine of his most representative paintings were animated by the Orbitz creative team.

To celebrate 50 years after Hopper’s death, Orbitz has made a series of animations of some of the most famous works of the painter, including Nighthawks. The intrepid pieces of Hopper, famous for their uncompromising realism, have literally been brought to another dimension where some elements of his paintings are moving to further emphasize the exact second in which time stops.

Hopper has been able to capture a particular moment, the element of silence and thanks to the Orizon team that silence becomes a listening dimension.
