Facetasm‘s Fall/Winter 2025 collection – the Japanese brand founded by Hiromichi Ochiai – is inspired by a visit to LOG, a boutique hotel in Onomichi designed by Studio Mumbai under the guidance of architect Bijoy Jain. The space, conceived around the principle of be kind, combines light, wind, plants, the city, and everyday life into a harmonious concept. Facetasm’s collection, Kind Shelter, reflects this spirit, adding a touch of elegance to daily life and capturing the essence of a refuge that welcomes with gentleness and warmth.

The Kind Shelter collection is characterized by a layered aesthetic – typical of Facetasm – while introducing more fluid and relaxed silhouettes. The pieces, including oversized coats, draped knitwear, and wide pants, are designed to ensure agility in movement, favoring truly cozy comfort. The fusion of functionality and elegance creates a daily, practical, yet refined look that fully embodies the spirit of the project.

The color palette of Kind Shelter, like the collection itself, plays on earthy tones, soft grays, and gentle blues, evoking the natural elements of LOG. The fabrics include wool, cotton, and textured knitwear, all elements that add warmth and depth, creating a tactile experience that ties into the collection’s main theme. Refined details, such as asymmetric cuts and layered collars, are a signature of Hiromichi Ochiai.
