On one side, the world leader in the production of racing sails, on the other, the number one in engines and speed. A few days ago, North Sails and Ferrari Hypersail announced a multi-year partnership with a press conference held at the new Genoa headquarters of the American company.
In fact, although this partnership was only unveiled on September 19, the teams of the two companies have been working together for about two years, in such secrecy that it could only be justified by the announcement itself.
…
Indeed, North Sails and Ferrari Hypersail have unveiled the project of the new and revolutionary ocean powerboat on which their engineering teams have been working, aiming to launch it next year.
The revolution is, of course, hidden in the details: the collaboration between Ferrari, North Sails, Southern Spars and Future Fibers has given birth to the “Engine Above Deck” concept.
For those less experienced, basically the best experts in speed, wind, navigation, and nautical materials have worked together for two years. The result, even if we cannot see it yet, we already know will be a success.

But the project doesn’t stop here. Among the many details that make the difference, there is also the technical apparel. Because surely many, when choosing a jacket, look at the design, the color, the aesthetics, but few pay attention to the weight. However, when the weight of what you wear affects the performance of the powerboat you are on, every gram of fabric becomes a burden.
This is how the Team Collection was born, a line of technical apparel developed exclusively for the Ferrari Hypersail team. Among the highlights of the line are the Offshore Jacket, designed for the most demanding ocean races and long crossings, and the Inshore Race Smock, ideal for fast and dynamic regattas.

Reinterpreting these two pieces, the Replica Collection was created, based on the technical features of the Team Collection while redesigning them with a lifestyle twist. Here too, there are two key items: on one side the GP Aero Jacket, the lightest racing jacket in the world, and on the other, the Ferrari Hypersail Men’s Softshell Jacket, waterproof, windproof, breathable, and elastic.

Last but not least: the first collection of this outstanding collaboration will arrive worldwide in the Fall-Winter 2026 season.
