Memoria Y Recuerdo arrives in Milan, the first personal exhibition in Italy by Franco Fasoli aka Jaz, curated by Giuseppe Pizzuto.
From 11 October 2018 to 7 November 2018 the Wunderkammern of Milan will host the exhibition of the Argentine artist, known for his large-scale work of street art, the small collages, and his bronze sculptures.
The tensions that are created between cultures, the idea of the existence of dominant cultures and sub-cultures have always been objects of study of Fasoli. With his art, he does not try to give answers to the questions posed by sociology but tries to start a discussion, to make the viewer reflect.
For Memoria Y Recuerdo the artist decided to work with the heritage legacy of Buenos Aires, his hometown, recreating some of its symbolic monuments. With his creations will turn Europe, seeking a link between European and South American culture. During the tour Franco will also make a performance, which will become a memory, sharing with visitors the photos of this trip.
