Deliveroo plans to celebrate both Easter and the last season of Game of Thrones. How? The giant in the food delivery field is producing large 1 kilo chocolate eggs reminiscent of Daenerys Targaryen‘s dragon eggs.

Each egg is handmade and comes in three edible colours: green, red and purple. Despite its scaly appearance, each piece has been made with excellent white chocolate signed Fairtrade and is about twenty centimeters high. Joe Groves from Deliveroo commented:

“Easter is coming, as well as the last season of our favorite bloodthirsty show. What better way than this to celebrate these two festivities with the fans?”.

On sale from 14 to 21 April, Game of Thrones inspired eggs can be ordered via the Deliveroo app in the districts of London, Manchester and Leeds for £0.80p.

L’arte sa nuotare and Blub’s street art

L’arte sa nuotare and Blub’s street art

Giulia Guido · 9 months ago · Art

If you haven’t heard of him yet, maybe it’s time to meet him. I’m talking about Blub, the Florentine street artist, who in recent years is gaining more and more notoriety thanks to his murals of the series L’arte sa nuotare that represent some of the most famous works of art submerged by water.

Yes, the Mona Lisa, Dante, The Birth of Venus, theGirl with a Pearl Earring and many others, all with a mask, are depicted as if they were diving into the sea.

Bulb creates these works in acrylic, preferring metal surfaces and over the years the doors of gas or electricity that are found in the streets have proved to be perfect, also succeeding in framing the artwork.

Discover his works in our gallery and on Blub’s Instagram profile

TVBOY and the new works on the streets of Rome

TVBOY and the new works on the streets of Rome

Giulia Guido · 9 months ago · Art

It seems that in the last few days the street artist TVBOY, often called “the Italian Banksy”, has not remained sit on his hands. In fact, 3 new works have appeared in the streets of Rome that cannot be ignored.

The first one was entitled Il gatto e la volpe (The Cat and the Fox) and depicts the two characters invented by Collodi with the faces of Salvini and Di Maio respectively, between the two, obviously, a defenseless Pinocchio with the appearance of the Prime Minister, Conte. Unfortunately, the work lasted only 6 hours, before being removed.

The second mural, which was also immediately removed, refers to this sudden interest on the part of the municipal administration of Rome in his works and their immediate removal.

The last one is called Stop Abuse, which is miraculously lasting more than 24 hours, and as every time it is the same artist who describes it:

“The third mural, at the moment the only one which survived censoring, was placed next to Vicolo degli Osti, portrays Pope Francis holding a child on his shoulders while he writes the phrase: “Stop Abuse”. The work wants to be a wish for the resolution of a delicate and painful question, currently being addressed by the church, which for too long has been a taboo and that Pope Francis has begun to openly address within and outside the Vatican.”

One can say that the art of TVBOY spares no one at all, and we look forward to finding out who will be the next protagonist.

Classicism becomes modern in Vivian Greven’s works

Classicism becomes modern in Vivian Greven’s works

Claudia Fuggetti · 9 months ago · Art

Vivian Greven is an artist who creates paintings perfectly balanced between classicism and modernity, pop world and abstraction. Her figures are taken from the classic icons of art history, such as Amore e Psiche di Antonio Canova, that we find in the kiss table with the lips crop.

The key elements of Greven’s paintings are based on the methodical development of an image, which consists of adding and removing parts of the painting, for a final result that enhances the shilouettes with elegance and class.

Vivian’s approach is pop, fresh and prefers pastel colors: everything seems to contribute to a final magnetic and poetic result. On the artist’s website, you will find other works in the meantime take a look at our gallery.

Royyal Dog, street art about multiculturalism

Royyal Dog, street art about multiculturalism

Claudia Fuggetti · 9 months ago · Art

Royyal Dog aka Chris Chanyang Shim is a Korean street artist from Los Angeles who started out on the street scene about ten years ago. Through his murals of black women in traditional Korean clothes, Shim creates the ideal portrait of multiculturalism.

In fact, over time, his works have developed this theme completely, extending it to other ethnic groups: the result is the representation of harmony given by the fusion of customs and traditions, belonging to cultures apparently very distant from each other. His murals celebrate peace and equality, among the most famous works we find “Peace To You”, where the artist depicted the singer Rihanna because she became a strong and successful woman starting from nothing, combined with the Korean flower, a symbol of strength.
