The ten models are divided into three formal families: Drift, Pier and Eave, each rooted in a specific aspect of Californian aesthetics. Drift draws on the soft, tapered volumes of water-smoothed stones, with a quiet presence that adapts to any environment without imposing itself. Pier builds its form on intersecting planes that echo the state’s coastal structures, with a sharper, more defined geometry. Eave is the most architectural of the three: its profiles carry references to Craftsman bungalow porches and Victorian cornices — a considered nod that never tips into literal quotation.

Connecting all three families are five colorways inspired by the West Coast landscape: Spruce, Manzanita, Lilac, Magnolia and Lichen. The shells are made from PlantPolymers, digitally fabricated polymers derived from non-GMO sugarcane — a material choice that contributes as much to the aesthetic as to sustainability: warm, slightly matte surfaces that absorb light rather than reflect it. The result is a collection that brings a piece of Californian design culture home in portable form, without sacrificing the formal quality expected of an object made to last.
