Have you ever dreamt of a glass house? Adriano Design has not only dreamt of it, it has designed it, and thanks to collaboration with Truetopia, the project has become a render designed to be placed in hyper-realistic China, where we would love it to be a reality. 

The House on the Rice Paddy is a private home which, contrary to what we might think, does not start with glass but with an element that has completely changed the architecture, namely the lift. 

The house looks like a series of glass cabins, each destined for a different domestic environment, positioned one on top of the other and connected by a central column through which a lift, also made of glass, passes. 

It is as if the lift’s journey takes those who enter the House on the Rice Paddy to gradually discover the house and the outside environment at the same time: it starts on the ground floor, near a pool of water, and ends in the bedroom, from where there is an unobstructed view of the Xianggong rice paddies.
