The goal was to create something that would blend with the landscape and become one with the beautiful Greek island of Serifos.
And looking at the result we can say that the architects of Sinas Architects, which was commissioned the project, have fully succeeded.
The result is an obviously dreamy summer house that blends perfectly with the hill, so much so that you might not see it from a distance.
The choice of materials has been fundamental for this project, to blend it with the Greek hills the architects have in fact chosen a particular type of stone called “xerolithies”.
The front and back facades that gradually go down and up, creating differences in height, are in fact covered only with this material.
The roof, on the other hand, is covered with earth so that the house appears seamless in the natural landscape.

Even the interiors have the same colors as the exterior. To the eye, in fact, the house designed by Olga Ktena appears light and airy, characterized precisely by the choice of the color palette of the earth.
