6 ways to build an amazing home fort with IKEA

Did you ever build a fort in the house with your pillows and sheets and everything around you? Have you always dreamed of building a secret lair in your living room? IKEA has launched – in its typical illustrative language – six different ways to build furniture forts.

Now that COVID-19 has forced us to spend a long period of time indoors, we have to find different ways to entertain ourselves and our children.

The guide consists of six different variants of forts, made both with products of the Swedish giant and with objects found in the house. For example, Dömik, uses an IKEA table, two blankets, eight books and ten laundry pins. Or Krepöst, which transforms a sofa by repositioning the cushions. Wigwåm takes a stronger approach to camp by using a hat and coat rack as a pole that supports a blanket by creating a tent. The best thing? IKEA furniture is not necessary, you can replace it with whatever works.
Arm yourself with imagination, some have already started building their forts, with great results.
