The illustrator and photographer Cinzia Bolognesi in art @cuordicarciofo, created a colorful and delicate illustration for the Timberland customization service DYO, focused these months on summer and iconic Boat Shoe.
A detailed and fresh work that resumes the theme of the season, mixing drawn elements and floral decorations.
Here’s how she tells us her creative process:
“When I was asked to revisit the Timberland Boat Shoe trough my style I immediately thought of how I can make, with the combination of materials and the with illustrated strokes, the lightness and the elegance of this model of shoe.
In my head, the finished work would have to ‘shout‘ with all his might to summer and to color.
The daisies, juxtaposed to each other, immediately gave to me a feeling of softness and joy of the holiday season and the lilac petals seemed an elegant combination to tell in short the shoe line.
Then I picked up and cut small pieces of blades of grass to ‘build‘ the sole, and the sugar helped me to create the clouds of heaven.
With the illustrations I tried to complete the tale of this micro-world of color and light.”
