The combination of art and food is increasingly in vogue, its communicative power able to engage viewers more directly. There are many restaurants that choose to support art, especially contemporary and emerging art. Among them is a project that stands out for its boldness, it is Immorale Osé, Luca Leone Zampa‘s restaurant in Porta Venezia (Via Tadino, 43, Milan). His Instagram feed is populated with sexual-culinary allusions and the bio reads “The new after sex restaurant.”
The restaurant’s concept is inspired by Manuel Vázquez Montalbano‘s little book “Ricette immorali,” containing sixty-two recipes that aim to stimulate desire through food, here prepared by chef Paolo Piunti.
The restaurant makes room for immorality and contemporary art, becoming a place for new interdisciplinary dialogues, thanks in part to its domestic, cozy and extremely intimate appearance.

With the support of galleries and following his personal taste, Luca Leone Zampa makes a selection of artists to be included within the space in a series of exhibitions open to new experimentation.
Until May 31, Immorale Osé is hosting the group exhibition “Feed,” the first Eat More Art event featuring artists Nicole Colombo, Huey Crowley, Matteo De Nando, Luca Loreti, Martina Rota and Twee Whistler. The selected works follow the language of the restaurant that traces aesthetic experience back to strictly material needs. The file-rouge connecting the works of the six artists is the sensuality and courting of the gaze, conveyed by glossy surfaces, full-bodied paintings, glazed ceramics, luminous signs, and the play of light and shadow.
