From the counters of the pastry shops to the small terraces of the railing houses, Clara Rubin captures the beauty of Italy and returns it to her public through the representation of buildings, shop interiors and houses. 

There is no doubt that Italian houses have a je ne sais quoi that makes them unique in the world. They will be the large tables where you can share dinners and lunches with friends, the balconies that overlook internal courtyards, the kitchens full of furnishings, teapots and coffee pots, but any Italian apartment or house will immediately make you feel at home. 

After all, being welcoming is a quality of the inhabitants of the Bel Paese known throughout the world and it is natural that it is also reflected in the places where they live. 

Clara Rubin, a young artist from Milan, manages to capture this aspect better than anyone else and looking at her paintings we feel like her guests, welcomed with open arms into her world of vibrant brushstrokes and colours.
