It’s official, the Blumhouse and Todd McFarlane confirmed a new Spawn‘s film. Spawn is one of the darkest and aesthetic superheroes of the all time. His comic was born in 1992 from the genius mind of Todd McFarlane ( a comic creator that become famous for drawing Spiderman) and published by the independent house called Image Comics.

This time the superhero is actually an anti-hero. Al Simons, ex CIA’s agent, after his death, makes a deal with the Devil and he becomes Spawn. But the news aren’t finished.

In 1997 another film based on this character was realized but it was literally a flop. This time, the amazing horror hero will be interpreted by the great Jamie Fox that accepted the rule with a lot of enthusiasm and the film will be directed by the creator himself McFarlene.

We don’t have other news about this upcoming movie but that is sure the thanks to Venom and Spawn, a new time for dark heroes is coming, and I’m very glad about it.
