Lack of Guidance and Diadora cross paths once again, confirming a creative chemistry that had already taken shape convincingly with the Mythos 280 earlier this year. But clearly, that first drop was only the beginning. To bring this second chapter to life, the Lack of Guidance team travelled to Treviso, home of Diadora, diving into the Italian brand’s archive to understand how far the dialogue between the two worlds could be pushed. From this journey comes a capsule that unites footwear and apparel within a single coherent narrative.

While the first Mythos explicitly referenced the Italian flag, this new release opts for a more understated tone. Its elegance is quiet, everyday, built on a palette of dark grey, taupe, black and soft brown suede—calling to mind a more mature, almost cinematic aesthetic without sacrificing its athletic functionality.

Tracksuits remain an essential code of football culture—technical tools on the pitch, identity markers off it. The track top in this capsule revives the lines of an archival Diadora jacket often worn by Lack of Guidance founder Akaar Amin, now transformed into the focal point of the apparel offering, paired with coordinated pants that reinforce its impact.

Lack of Guidance has always used graphics as a field of exploration, recovering and reinterpreting football’s visual language through a contemporary lens. During the archive research in Montebelluna, the team uncovered a series of early ’90s artworks, finding in Diadora’s iconic “Light Your Fire” the perfect starting point for a white T-shirt that becomes a direct bridge to the past.
The same logic of respect and reinvention guides the running long sleeve—an homage to Diadora’s long tradition of designing pieces shaped around athletes’ needs, translated here into a clean, immediate functionality built for everyday wear without losing character.
The Diadora x Lack of Guidance capsule, featuring the new Mythos 280 and the full apparel range, will be available this Friday, December 12th online and in-store at Lack of Guidance, as well as on Diadora’s website. Starting December 19th, a selection of global retailers will complete the rollout, marking the second chapter of a collaboration that continues to speak the same language—but each time with new nuances.
